    WGT,

First, glad to see progress with new equipment and now a Congressional CTTH with the full course soon to follow!

I do have a problem with the new Cleveland wedges however....me, being the eternal optimist, I immediately bought all 3. My problem is the Cleveland CG16 52degree (L74+) 115 yards...this is basically a pitching wedge and I cannot replace it in my G10 set that includes a G10 pitching wedge!  One cannot mix and match full sets on WGT as we can IRL !

So my point is; I bought 3 new wedges and really do not see using the 115 yd rated one....will this ever be addressed?

    Ty,

    SM

Why did you buy the 52 degree one? I just swapped out the 56 and 60 degree Satins for the Clevelands, like you show now in your bag.  I think Lizzie has affected your thinking. :-D

    YJ,

    You got the brains.....

I got the good looks, sexual prowess and personality.

But seriously, why do they even sell the damn thing? Who would carry 2 115 yd wedges on purpose?

I fully concur with SM - it makes little sense to offer a wedge that has the same length as the G10 or the i15 PW as long as it isn't possible to mix and match, or at least to drop the PW in favour of a hybrid or another wedge. WGT please address this!

My guess is it's some requirement from Cleveland to showcase their full wedge line. I bought a real 60 degree Cleveland wedge for my son for Christmas (thanks for the advice ncviz) and I must say it just plain looks ferocious! They laser engrave lines between the square cut grooves (good to 2024) and now it's like hitting the ball with a piece of sandpaper on a stick! I can see why the spin rating is 1/2 dot off the max.

I got YJ to help me with the addition and subtraction, so I know it's right !  :^)

I bought the 115 yd Cleveland wedge for 895 credits and I can sell it back for 224 credits......this means I am out 671 credits.

WGT, pls enjoy my 671 credits and apply it to "twitchy meter" research.

LOL-More math. It just means you paid 1230.5 credits each for the 2 you kept. The irony here is that they're actually worth it. You can ace 2 holes at the Congressional CTTH with the 56 degree pitch alone (not that you would buy it for 1 CTTH.) They are superb wedges and you won't be sorry.

Whats to address? The first move the club makes back from full is about 107 yards. A high ball flight never seen in the wedges before. Amazing accuracy. In any condition it will be pin seeking time on bpb #2 with a decent drive. Can you flop with the 115 yard wedge in your full set? What's the distance on the punch shot? A punch shot probably flies higher than the chunky Z wedges. The whole set costs less than a dinner for two.

In real life (http://www.clevelandgolf.com/US_cg16-black-pearl-wedges__cg16_bp_wedges__viewProd_wedges.html) they range from 46 degrees of loft up to 64 degrees. Would love to see the latter here to fill in the need for a really short lofted club (50-60 yards) and make this a complete set.
