Kill the Friends list in the playing window!

  I know there are some folks who will argue the point, but but I believe it is well established that status changes of your WGT friends will translate to meter glitches if they occur in your downswing. That is not the ONLY source of meter issues, but it IS significant.

  I went through the hassle of eliminating 95% of my (150 or so) WGT friends and - presto! - 95% of my meter issues have disappeared.

  So here's my question: why the need to even know what your WGT friends are doing in the middle of a round? Yes, setting up a game with friends is much easier with a menu of who's available to play ... but once you hit the Tee Off button, what's the need for a status list?

  I agree, something has to be done, foe when you are out playing, the friendslist should be "deactivated" it has happened to me also, friendsnotify during the backswing with meter glitches as a result.

  LOL How much more proof does WGT need ,? Apparently tests were done at their end and they found nothing?Tibbets was the best players on here he always cleared his friends list.Jakestanffill7 clears his list to a min,Best player on here now Bollin clears his entire list when the Open starts,Why? so he doest get meter glitches or at least keeps them to a min,How Much more proof WGT,How Much More Proof WGT?  How Much More Proof WGT? How Much more Proof WGT,

  I have tried this also and I have to agree with PRIESTESS  100 %  IT DOES HELP .  The time I tried it the meter VERY  VERY  SMOOTH   ! ! !

  Must be. My entire "mini-profile window" was gone for the first 3holes whilst attempting (yet another) qualification at RSG last night. It only returned after I received an invite. I thought I'd have gone "unavailable" when I started the round, but I guess not.

  Anyways, during those first three holes... no glitches. After it returned... the meter began acting-up with a vengeance.  :(

  Apparently there is some "experimentation" going on... I hope it is implimented soon.

  I agree wholeheartedly... AND it was great having only the game to concentrate on... without the distraction.

  Was about to get a sceenshot when I got the invite and it returned.

  I don't think it's any coincidence that in the recent update WGT have added this rather pointless Challenge Your Friends feature.

  They know that the momentum among players deleting their friends is building. It kinda goes against the ethos of the game and the greater playing community, but it certainly has made a difference to my meter. WGT however will be concerned that players wont play as much in alt shots, fourballs etc if they cannot see who is online at a glance, hence the introduction of this annoying feature.
