Congratulations to MRenn for an outstanding final round of 57 on the way to a final score of 62/57 = 119 and a 2 stroke win in the US Open.   He dodged a lot of bullets from the leaders after posting his final score ... but ... pending verification by IGF he's on his way to the 2011 US Open.   A fine showing by a classy player ... Maybe now he'll play me in an MPC .. :)

Congrats to MRENN for his win at the Open and the dominate 2nd round.  It's funny to think about and listen too all the could of's would of's etc. but he went out and did it under the single play pressure of the final round.

Enjoy your trip, nice to see a new name at the top and a classy nice guy as well.  WGT has been blessed to have been represented with nice guys winning their majors in the past and the tradition continues.

I have a feeling that Bollox and Avatar are going to come back strong for the British.

Agreed! Congrats MRENN for rising to the top when the pressure was on ! ( and not buckling to it like I did)

A quick congrats to Dianne81 as well for being the leader in the clubhouse for a while and managing a top 10 finish in the toughest tournament on WGT.

Yes, congrats on the performance and enjoy your trip!

I definitely had the shoulda, coulda, wouldas after I saw I was only 4 shots back.  Can easily think of the holes I screwed up that I should have made birdie or par.  Dianne knows what I'm talking about. :-)  That tree on #4 got us both.

Can't wait for the British.  I have made the cut at all majors WGT has hosted so far and have gotten a little better in the championship rounds each time.  T-11 at Bethpage in 2009, T-9 at Oakmont and solo 6th at St. Andrews last year, and now a T-4 at Congressional.  Lookin for another Top 10 at RSG!

Thanks alot guys for all the complimenting posts.I really was just hoping to put a few respectable rds on the board but when I drained a 39ft uphill bender on 4 to go -4 thoughts of going pretty low were starting to go through my head.I really didnt think it was enough to win but I guess luck was on my side this year.Again, thanks guys,Im still a little stunned by the outcome.Good luck to everyone in the Open Championship and thanks WGT for creating such a great vitual golf game and community!
