Yeah Sam....Who...LOL - YES it does TBE, yes it does....the "true" spirit of golf as well as the true spirit , integrity, and honestly of the entire CC,  wouldn't you agree.

    Of course I agree.

Even if one player is proven to have shared their login info so that a better player can play the round for them...then it puts the entire CC's credibility to the sword all because of 1/ the person who's account it is & 2/ the other player who actually played the round.

I can't see any other way of dealing with it other than removing the offending players' CC from the tourney...any results they've had from day one should be nullified and the 2nd placed teams promoted to 1st place.

How the CC then deals with the offending players is ultimately their own matter, but normally they'd be removed from the club for cheating....which is what it is.

Honesty and integrity.....there can be no other way.

"but normally removed from the club". Why, do you know of this happening before?

I think we all know that this is happening and while the research on IP's would be able to show who the offending players are, this is something that WGT would have to do and I don't think they would take the time to do it especially in a CC sponsored tournament.

The real shame is that some of the best players on the site might choose not to participate in what has been a great tournament because of the acts of a few unethical players.  I would call to all the team captains to canvas their players and anyone who they find or suspect is quilty of this, expel from their club.

I would expect the CC would also report the offenders to WGT since it is a violation of the T&C.

    WGT Terms & Conditions:

Your account is non transferable. You may not allow any other person to use your player account to access WORLD GOLF TOUR (WGT), participate in any tournament or game, or to accept any winnings related to your player account.

It's also against the T and C to use anothers account, or allow someone else to use yours. I know I'm not in this comp, geeze, who would want to be when this can of worms comes wriggling out? but anyway, here lies just one more reminder of the sort of trash who play this game, and as usual spoil it for most other people. Never mind a ban from the CC, these types must be banned from Wgt. Like other people have been.

I have done my part to report what I feel is blatant , and I mean blatant dishonesty. Now we wait. There are a few ways around all this cheating and duel accounts that it is very hard to prove, but I feel very strongly, you will only get away with this for so long, and your cheating, dishonest little world will come crashing down. To cheat at all cost just to win a virtual tourn. How freaking pathetic do you have to be......

In real life golf only.... a person had been caught cheating in a local private club tournament and he was blackballed and got a life ban from the club.

I'd assume the same would happen here in WGT...even although it's only a game....that doesn't make it any more acceptable in my opinion.

Seems like an inter CC dispute and not a clue if the claims are true.

If this goes on with the supposed  'top' players, maybe its time to stop hammering the supposed 'sandbaggers'. Who out of the 2  groups are ' cheating'?

Just remember not to name names or then you run the risk of being booted from the game altogether, what a joke!

And when the good folks on here spoke out and said, "Set Mio Free" they did not mean literally!

i think if anyone even thinks that wrongdoing is going on they should contact wgt and let them know. Most of us play the game in the spirit it is supposed to be played, fair and with a sense of duty and honour to the great game of golf. But regardless of which sport there are always people who have a win at all cost attitude. you will never get rid of them how ever hard you try. weather its people borrowing accounts or having one account at work and another at home and gifting themselves equipment so they can play comps twice. or the simple multi account holders who don't give a damn about fairplay. i look at some players accounts who have been a member for years and have no friends mmmmm stinks of multiple account. maybe they are just loner's who want to play on their own or maybe they are not what they seem. every year i look at the leaderboard  and see new members shooting low after being with the site a matter of months. quick learners or not you decide.

cheating is never going to go away if there is a way people will find it and abuse it. us real golfers and wgt need to help weed out the parasites that feed on innocent and fair minded players and make this game a level playing field for all.
