Im sure I am not the only one here who thinks this but here go's.I personally think the time limit on a closed RG should be cut in half to 6 hours from 12 hours once a ready-go is filled. It seems that everytime there is one or 2 players that like to sign up and either not play it,or wait till 11 hours after its closed to finally get around to it.Just kind of gets old to come back on the next day and still have to wait 8 or so hours to play that same RG.

I agree!!!!!  Some guys are signing up for RGs then going off to bed, or work, and then playing at the last hour (done it myself!), and it's a real pain for those having played and then having to wait so long.

Some are signing up and not even playing which is worse.

Frustrating when you see 48/49 scores in straight away then have to wait 11 hours for the 1 or 2 guys that probably aren't even going to play!!

Ok let me get this straight.....

You want to get beat by the same 5 players Twice as often?  Great!

Yes, I'd love double the pot of what I'm taking in the 4 that I usually play.  (Well, in the 2 that I usually do well in at least.. lol)

The delay does have a purpose in that it mixes up who is entering. On the more popular RG's , another has started with a completely different 50 players while the other has yet to pay out.

It would be interesting to see how things shift if it was changed, but I don't see the 12 hour time as being to big of a problem. However I will say I think there are tooo many RG's. Eliminate about half the 9's and add 2-3 more 18 hole ones and you would see even more balance in who is wining these things - which is a good thing.

Decrease the number significant'y enough and you would see them fire up 3-4 times before another payed out - that means at least 150 people have the chance to win one before the top guys come in and sweep up the prizes.

So, hopefully I've made my case here.

Have to give the OP a..

you're not the only one I think so too - but this has been done and the wgt response is that they think 12 hours is fine.

I don't know why they think waiting for one person for 9-10 hours to maybe play is ok but they do

apparently people wait till its full to see the scores - cos that will make you play better won't it? and some people get called away blah blah blah

Upshot is, they like it and wont change it

If you take away some then players who like to grind them out say over a weekend suddenly have their fun removed because they have played the available, and are waiting for the 1 or two people who sign up and don't play or wait till the final half hour to play

If we're the paying customer, shouldn't we have more options not less?
