  has anyone got to the bottom of the subject if we are getting or not getting the open course lytham and st annes??

  i would like to know either way really..

  or with new pin positions on kiawah and congressional.

  best of putting challenge  coming in the 30 - 90 days.  another "tru golf course" in the autumn / fall. 

  is this what we get instead?

  Another poster, MioKontic, is certain that WGT have photographed Royal Lytham however, if we are getting it, they are leaving the announcement very late. If not, I would still say that we will get another HD course before the year is out but what that would be is anyone's guess.

  I think (hope) WGT is just basking in the success of the current Open. Milk it for all it's worth and then do it all over again in the UK.  :-)

  i was thinking , well hoping myself that is the case.

  let everyone play the us open then release the open course for us in time for the tournament next month fingers crossed.

  not a massive fan of links courses but i dont play the tru golf courses so another HD course is in desperate need for me :))

  what i find funny is when ever theres a post like this on courses the wgt staff in forums go hiding lol :))

  That doesn't sound illogical, Captain.

  I still believe it will be with us, but probably not before the Virtual US Open is over.  If they released it now they would not see any benefit as many would still be concentrating on the US Open and not using up their balls qualifying on Lytham.

  But, for God's sake, STOP ASKING, and accept the surprise if and when it comes!  And if it doesn't come I'm sure they will tell us why; can only be for legal reasons.

  I do hope it doesn't come out in cartoon style!

  thats what i said mio

  let players play the us  open which is on now

  then release the open course end of month if it is coming !!

   

  ie. some one maybe a member or work at the course and have seen wgt at the course snapping pics

  captain :))

   

  although there is a cartoony course coming soon :(

  Congressional was a bit busy,

  rolling over onto St. George.

  WGT may have learned.

  Hole out Olympic, tee up Lytham.
