I for one agree with you. I'd rather be playing a game than sitting and waiting because someone gets mad and quits

I thought it was always 5 minutes.  Your not going to change it.  There is enough people like me that spend dough on the game and enjoy it for what it is.  A game.

tested mine the other day from restart to connecting to WGT  4 minutes 38 seconds.
Really? That struck me to be an awful long time so I booted up a 10 year old laptop and was on the site in less than 1 1/2 minutes....

I don't play matches so that may be a whole different story but I have my browser set to open the game in a separate window and when the meter starts glitching I just close and reopen the home page window which takes less than 10 seconds and it is usually fine....

just a question folks, not trying to get into a p!ssing contest...

Having to sit there for 5 mins waiting for a quitter to return is a disgrace and a blight on the game.

Mods should do something about this instantly as I know already it is turning people away and Imany more will follow.

    REDUCE TO 1 MIN PLEASE.....

Anyone else have thoughts on this?

This MIGHT just be the single most ignorant comment I've ever seen here.

A 1 year old thread, u don't make snap decisions then.

I had my  first meter problem last week.  Yea the first in over a year.  It was like changing speeds and staggering.  Whistler full 18 ranked.  Lost the first ball I hit into the weeds.  Second shot with the new faster and staggered meter buried itself under a rock round 40 yds to the right.   I shut it down and found something else to do.  The next morning I sent WGT an e-mail and explained what happened;nicely;politely; profesionally.  Did not even take 5 miutes.  They got right back to me credited my account and even gave me a free ball thet I never asked for.

Will we ever get more courses? Same courses over and over is getting really old.

While we're pondering deep questions, I have one: will there always be people posting their questions in the first forum thread they see without even reading the title?

    WGTicon:

    Hi

how do you differentiate between someone who has quit or who disconnected and needs to reboot or reconnect to the internet? we can't figure it out :(

    -wgticon

I've just made a post under product suggestions regarding the 150 seconds allowed for disconnections in skins mode. WGTicon has pretty much stated that 60 seconds simply wouldn't work and a some point WGT must have agreed upon 5 minutes.

150 seconds for disconnection in skins CHALLENGE is unacceptable. Many of the guys I play with feel exactly the same but, we all kinda agree that we don't expect WGT to change anything as the only winner with the 150 seconds is WGTas they keep the credits.

    Thanks
