Thanks for that Pizza. I appreciate it.
At what point does the Product Manager get involved in these suggestions of ours?
With the agenda of, "what can we accomplish this quarter" - can i assume other suggestions are earmarked for the next quarter?
Is it possible Pizza, that this thread:
http://www.wgt.com/forums/t/121724.aspx?PageIndex=1
...could be duplicated by yourself, and managed by you to update from time to time/ monthly?
I am suggesting that if you were to take all the ideas from that thread and other worthy ideas from other threads, and amalgamate them all into an OP. (Opening Post)
As the suggestions are tabled you could edit the OP & mark them as 'discussed' and or provide a future for that Product Suggestion/ Improvement
such as;
- Discussed, Approved - placed on road map for Q2
- Discussed - Idea is great - more info/ input please
- Discussed - current platform unable to implement this.
- Discussed - WGT doesn't feel there is a need for this (and need more info/ or is now closed)
- Not Discussed as this is not in line current Company direction or.. whatever.
This would this allow the community to have an area to see there is progress/ movement/ activity on their suggestions.
The community (the majority who are regs would in turn provide links to/ direct those not so regular, to this thread. Assisting you and Icons role here
You would only need to update that list perhaps once per month, with the decisions update and a a few more new suggestions that you feel worthy or the community has felt worthy of the list?
This thread managed by yourself, would allow replies, or other suggestions and perhaps the discussion of fine tuning current tabled suggestions.
Perhaps a representative of the Product Manager, a dev team member could be involved in this thread to perhaps expedite the resolutions of the suggestions as listed above?
IMO I feel this will do a few things
- Alleviate the aggression/ frustration in the forums in the tune of "we arent being listened to"
- Provide a single consolidated area of all WORTHY suggestions
- Assist you in your role as Community Manager to collect and collate suggestions.
- Provide concrete established content for the next MisterWGT chat.
- Offer WGT extra exposure to its focus of Community Care as passionately outlined by Chad in the last Chat with MisterWGT
You get that or similar implemented for us and I'll buy you a PBR :)
