People fear some courses, like Oakmont and Olympic. Played two RG two days ago in those courses(Tour Master only) and at this time only 34 and 32 have signed in... They think they have more chances at Saint Andrews, but truth is almost everyone thinks they can do well at Saint Andrews.... and Saint Andrews RGs fill quickly. But as more people play Saint Andrews and learn Saint Andrews like the palm of their hands.. you have reduced chances there too... and then you miss the opportunity to play and learn other courses. I play them all, learn them all, play good and bad in all. Sometimes I think I did terribly bad and find in the end that most of the others did even worse and I find myself in the top making a profit or at least getting a return on my investment. Smarten up guys.. all courses are enjoyable.

You are correct, sir.  My favorite RGs when I was TM were Whistler 18 and Kiawah 18 with heavy winds.  400 credits for a 64 is a heckuva deal.

for sure, some RG's you only have to make par to get your money back!

Well, last month i posted decent score in $10 ready go at Olympic club only for it to take a MONTH to fill up!

Some find Olympic tough, but I've come to find it easier than St Andrews to post a good score.  Its got to a point at ST Andrews where a 59 might LOSE you $$!

That's what I say. Yesterday I posted a 32 in a Ready Go.. it was a cheap Ready Go(50 cents Kiawah)..I thought I wasn't gonna make a dime.. I later discovered that even first place was a 32(that made me feel a bit bad, cause I missed two perfectly makeable putts).  I see Saint Andrews RG fill up quickly. I understand that a 10 bucks Ready Go will not fill up soon, since not everybody will spend all those credits.. but 1 and 2 shouldn't last 3 or 4 days only because people try to play what they feel comfortable with all the time. Truth is you can have a good game at Oakmont and a terrible at Saint Andrews too.

Good post. I have felt that way, but you are correct. Makes perfect sense. LOL maybe you shouldn't have said anything.
