Not sure which pin you have the trouble with.   This one?

Skimming through this, I'm surprised no one has said CCC 11 with the old pin location. It's a nightmare to get up the slope of the green and there's that small matter of the water on the right to avoid.

STA 17 is also a dog. It's very long and ridiculously protected with the front bunker and slope of the green while using a long iron.

Oakmont 9 is not a tough pin location, it's a tough green. But like many holes, very much dependent on wind direction and speed.

Jim got it right, Beth 15 with the front pin is actually a birdie hole 60% + of the time for me. The back location can be a snake pit though.Beth 8 with the front right pin is also not much fun when this par 4 is playing like a par 5 in length.

The toughest putt is probably 9 on Oakmont or 15 on BPB depending upon where you are.  I would vote for 9 as the toughest pin because it is so hard to get at.

I regularly screw up CCC4 with the left pin position. The invisible branches and magnetic sand don't help!

Quite a great shot! I think this is the hardest pin placement o all the courses.

I used to hate this pin too, but then I did this yesterday.

The right front pin at CCC #14.  25 feet up from 175 yards with a moderate crosswind is NO picnic.  I'm suprised nobody has mentioned it here.  YOU get close to it!

    Cheers!

Strokemont  #9 front right is hands down the toughest. Par feels like a bird. Funny thing as well.. It is ranked the #17 handicap hole. Go figure...
