Yeah it has happened to me a few times on the fringe and once on the green itself.

I have NEVER walked up to a putt  (in real life) and accidentally hit it 10X the force needed. UMMMM and wgt should just leave it JUST up to the player.  and to anyone who may disagre ..PUUULLLEEEZZZ !!!!

Yeah I tend to agree, I wish that the auto caddy feature didn't work but I suspose that it does speed up play a little bit.  Anyone who complains about it on fringe shots has no reason to complain, heck I look at all my options from there.

I always say      never  trust your caddie. If some people  dont want a caddie,  maybe an option just like the  putting grid, arc  etc     to  shut it off  is a good idea.   But   if you just blindly hitting shots without looking to see what club you have chosen for you,  you are the one that  is a t fault   not  WGT.   I almost always club down at least 1 club sometimes several depending on the wind.

It would be a major improvement to set the default put distance to minimum, of course it will never happen.  I always check my club, distance and everything else but still once in awhile I sail a putt, then say "Dang, there are too many things to check"

Please set putt distance default to minimum (praying).
