Don't set the putter range to 150 ft automatically on the fringe!!!

  This has screw me numerous times.  15 fter from the fringe, hit 50% power but oops, the game autoset to 150 fter so I just hit it 60 ft past the hole.

  I don't think we should have to depend on the game to do everything for us.  The caddy feature on putting and hitting irons is just a default to a close number.  Since you are off the green, you should check all your options anyway, chipping, flopping, etc.  I don't see why it would matter what the meter says, always check it out.

  Your caddy works for you. He/she makes a suggestion but it is up to you to decide which club you use. Pros discuss shots with their caddy all the time and don't just blindly accept their choice.

  What drives me crazy is when I'm on the edge of the green or on the fringe and I decide that, yes, I want to putt this, and then the ball goes about five inches when I was trying to hit a 47 ft putt.  Fix this please!!!!  I don't think I've ever tried to stroke the ball that hard on a real golf course and seen the ball only go five inches forward.  It just doesn't make much sense when it's all short grass.

  Are you actually on the fringe or are you in the short rough?  The latter would account for your 5 inches.

  ANTHONY-I WILL SHOUT BECAUSE YOU ARE APPARENTLY HARD OF HEARING. DC IS RIGHT, YOU HAVE THE CHOICE AND BECAUSE THERE ARE SO MANY COMBINATIONS AND PERMUTATIONS TO CLUBS WGT CAN'T BE EXPECTED TO KNOW EVERY ONE. 

  GET IN THE HABIT OF LOOKING AT THE CLUB CHOICE BEFORE YOU HIT. IT WILL SAVE YOU MAJOR AGGRAVATION.

  OK, you can all uncover your ears, sorry I didn't warn you.   ;-)
