  They could immediately buy the Burners and G20 woods - not absolutely equal footing with R11s but still enough to reach and hold any green and be competitive.  They'd have the option of waiting a bit for the full G20 set.  Slot the Rbladez at L87 or 88 as an intermediate upgrade.  

  I don't think people would spend that much in such a short amount of time. An immediate upgrade is the perfect way to make no money. There would be no point in buying Burners or G20s if they will only have them for a short amount of time.

  L81 isn't even halfway to L90 and the R11s.  It takes months for daily players.  There's plenty of time to buy a couple of upgrades.

  There are around 20 iron sets (not counting all the different colors of the WGT cheapies) available before L81.  There's only one more before the R11s.
