They could immediately buy the Burners and G20 woods - not absolutely equal footing with R11s but still enough to reach and hold any green and be competitive.  They'd have the option of waiting a bit for the full G20 set.  Slot the Rbladez at L87 or 88 as an intermediate upgrade.

I don't think people would spend that much in such a short amount of time. An immediate upgrade is the perfect way to make no money. There would be no point in buying Burners or G20s if they will only have them for a short amount of time.

You will make more money, and thats a fact! I believe so because there is less of a reason to multi account. Players don't have to panic because they don't have the proper tools. They now know that due to their skill level they can use clubs that coincide with their skills.

Only 1 problem with this. IMO it takes 2 things to become a multiaccounter. First you need to have a desire to win and not enough skill to do it at the top level, and the second requirement is you need to be pond scum. Even if these new clubs help a little with solving the 1st issue, they won't do anything about the requirement No. 2. And I think a lot of them have actually reached a high enough XP level with their original account to be able to buy the "good stuff", they just don't have the skills to be competitive with them. So new clubs won't change a thing here. If top end clubs will be available to lower levels, it'll actually make multiaccounting more attractive, cause they will be able to do more damage with a lower XP level.

But I agree that changing to tier based clubs would actually improve sales, cause most would need to buy new clubs for change of tees. As it is now, all you need to do is to play with starters until you reach L59 Pings and you're set all the way to legend. When I started playing in the beginning of this year, I used starters, cause I didn't want to spend any cash at first. They got me very close to the master tier in just over 2 months. Then I reached L59 and decided to invest 50$. I saved that much in a week by not having to drink my sorrows away after a bad round with starters, so it was a good investment. And apart from the driver and wedge upgrade, I'm still using them. But, if the G20 set was for master + tier only, I'd probably be forced to buy Raptures before that, or try to get to master with starters, which would take a bit longer.

I still think that some level + tier combo (like we have with balls) would be an optimal solution. XP points and level-up boosts and energy drinks would still have the same importance as they do now, but you'd need to play from the tips to be able to buy R11s. There's absolutely no need for them from shorter tees.

Will be really interesting to see where the Bladz slot in and what are their properties..

I mean we got low level R11s, L59 G20s, L69 Ballz, L79 burners and the top G20s...they may be all about the 'Dots'  ? ...Andy

I'm wondering if they might include  a superior set  to the R11s at the highest level, possibly TL/Legend only (too many high level TMs and Masters.) They surely would be expensive but also attractive  to the R11 owners that want more.

I think that if they are released for the lower level players, we will see a higher level MAX Irons set that are the best irons on WGT.

I doubt that for the simple reason the MAX isn't a sponsor and the latest TM club was in Chad's hands during the chat.

i'm pretty convinced there will be a mid-lvl, as well as high lvl RBldz .. for me it stands to reason that high lvl Bladez would be above the R11's .. those things are supposed to be the latest, shiniest, best toys in town ..

saw the videos .. if WGT code these irons correctly, they're gonna be totally sick ..

they should be longer, more accurate & more forgiving than the R11's .. much lower COG, huge sweet spot & that "spring-sole" tech should make them deadly .. even higher trajectory will make windy shots a whole new thing to learn with these things ..

I'm very excited. Based off that video, these things don't belong in a beginners hands. They belong in a Legend's hand. I hope that they give us higher level players something to look forward to.
