I prefer 100 cr, 9 hole tourneys because risk of loss is limited, it fills up quickly and gets over in reasonable time. I don't mind losing few cents once in a while. Presently, none of the TL RG excites me, as none fulfills what I am looking for. It is also a misconception that all TLs are credit rich, or will dole out $3.0 without blinking an eyelid, knowing fully well that there are many similar skilled, or better, players that reduce the prospect of getting money back - let us just forget the possibility of a return. A mistake on any of 18 Holes potentially sets back a player by $2 to $8, excluding cost of balls.
Further, I don't mind the occasional more "credit put-in round" but cannot wait for an eon to see the outcome, or block money till cows come home. 6 TL RGs were running simultaneously because three new RGs got added despite that the ongoing 3 RGs had not been filled up. Ironically, a couple of those are in the limbo till date :)
WGT must ensure a quicker turnaround of events. So, it ought to either reduce the 12 hour deadline to complete a round, or alternatively stop revealing leaderboard moment RG fills up, with 50 players on board. Come on, one does not need 12 hours to complete 9 hole round. Besides, it gives undue advantage to the few, who wait till the 11th hour to begin their round.
