I think thta what WGT Pizza said is proper.   WGT is negotiating with many of these courses for the rights.  Keep in mind that the negotiation is not between the US Open and / or British and WGT since they have an agreement of sorts with them, but WGT also has to negotiate (and pay) each individual course since the courses are not owned by those two bodies.

The worst thing you could do during a negotiation is to tell everyone that it is a done deal, you just drove up the price.  Hard to be patient here but that is what is called for.  Again I would like to see some negotiating between the PGA courses and PGA with WGT, some great tracts used there as well.

In terms of Australia, I would assume that it is not cost effective for WGT to go there.
