  Back in the summer of 2010, there was a WGT link on the USGA site that allowed you to play a CTTH on all 18 holes (based on something like "greatest US Open shots" on that particular PB hole), but you could not sign in to play with your equipment.  A 9-shot CTTH based on that was then introduced on WGT for about 2 months in the fall of 2010 (and taken off, I believe for contractual reasons).  This is that same course.  I'm not sure WGT was ever able to shoot all of Pebble for stroke play.  Pity.

  Is there any chance that Pebble Beach will be opened up for stroke play in the               forseeable future?  Does anyone have any idea?

  Maybe the golf channel will have more clout when they take control of WGT

  I sure hope so.  It would become the most popular course to play, I would think, and WGT knows it.  To give us just a tease is a bit sadistic (kidding), but a taste is better than nothing.

  Born.................I think you are confusing blitz with CTTH.   We had Pebble Beach, same two challenges for something less than 2 months, back I think in 2010.  At the time we all hoped we would get it as stroke play.  According to WGT some liscensing issues caused us not to get it.  I think we got Oakmont that year instead (US Women's Open site).   Shortly after than the PB tracts vanished not to be seen again.

  It's good to have them back even in this format, hope they stay and we get the full course before the Open goes back there, I think in 2019.
