Can't quite understand what the issue is? The Best of Par 3 course is free to play in practice mode only.

You missed my point in order to get any of the shields/awards you have to play the courses in ranked mode and as cabo and whistler are amongst the par 3s you have to pay to get any of the best of par 3 demolisher awards

I doubt that very much. Why would we have to pay anything if only 4 holes are from the pay courses?  I looked at the awards and the one for the Best of Par 3 is bogus anyway. Par is 54 on the Best of Par 3's and the Top award is for 57 or better. WGT screwed up and made the numbers the same as a regular 18 hole course. Worry about something important instead. ;-)

This par 3 set-up is probably the best in my opinion to play in the Uneven Lie mode. The play is quick and missing the greens on purpose is very good short game practice. Learning how to play the lies around the greens is a big plus. Bunker shots, which is the best shot to use. Good putting practice also.

I've only played it with the starters and UL to practice. Like you said you can set up bunker shots and practice pitching and chipping plus all the putting. Playing Cabo and Whistler holes is fantastic too.

The awards for the best of par 3's do not work..I have played a full 18 on it the day it came out..only managed a few under par but was good enough for the diamond award along with all the others..but no credit given for it at all.

The only way to play it is in MP where it can be a "scored" game..but again no credit for the awards.

Hopefully WGT will listen to the most sensible comment I have seen so far..where the suggestion was to configure so that the percentage the guy mentioned would equate the 18 hole game to a 71. whatever it was ..as opposed to the 54..then a ranked option would be possible for all to play and be credited for.

It seemed a very simple solution to the problem, and seemed simple to enable..maybe it will happen..the sooner the better..I play it a lot myself.

Wow I have finally found a player who wants or cares about the award system! I honestly thought that no-one gave a hoot about them except perhaps newbies.

I personally find them a joke and would delete them is I could.

But until such a time that WGT work out the formula to allow it as a ranked round, no awards on the par 3 course. As for Cabo and Whistler, if you want the awards you will have to pay to play.

And for the record I played the front 9 yesterday, my first taste of the course - credit to WGT (especially Icon for his input) for the course, I enjoyed it.
