Let's keep this in perspective, guys.

I was on my way to nearly 500 consecutive days play, then my laptop broke. That was the only computer I had. It happened in the evening and I hadn't played a game yet. I had to wait until the next day to go out and get a new laptop. I thought it was the end of the world as I always played several rounds a day and thought I would continue forever.

However, I was already at a high level and there was nothing I desperately needed from the pro shop that I was going to miss out on. After about a week I started to get back the same amount xp points I was earning before. Okay I missed out on about a week's worth and I can't brag in the forums I have this long record of consecutive days play. In the grand scheme of things it doesn't make much difference. It might make a difference when you are starting out and want to get the higher level equipment as soon as possible. Then those points really count.

Let's not get hung up on this, guys. If it's really that important to you then make it a priority to play each day and don't leave it until the last minute.

    I agree, Jason.

I'm in the same time zone as WGT so the day resets in the late afternoon/early evening here. The easiest way to keep a streak alive is simply to play one hole before you go to bed every night. Then you can do whatever the following day and not worry about the reset time.

When I was briefly interested in a streak I just played #9 at St. Andrews every night. From those tees most people can drive the green; the green is flat so it's easy to 1- or 2-putt. The fairway is really wide. There's no water so you won't lose any golf balls. Or you can just use the starter balls for that one hole. Very easy to maintain a streak that way.

That said, WGT has acknowledged in the past that there is a bug they haven't been able to specifically pinpoint and fix. Some people do actually play every day and sometimes the consecutive days reset on their own. The vast majority of the time, though, it is user error.

In the big picture of life, game playing and WGT, the loss of a few days' streak is not really a big deal. Just a little irritating.

Today will make 757 days played in a row for me lol ,yes i need an intervention. I have had to play sitting in libraries, in the parking lot of libraries, Mcdonalds & parking lot, Government buildings, doctor's offices, friends internet connect, all in my attempt to keep my streak going . Suffice to say my life has been hella stable for last 2 years, so my streak continues on.

    +1!

For a wee bit more variety, I choose Par 3 holes of different courses, or OLY #7. With a tad more time at hand, I like to play 3 hole practice on variable courses. This allows to choose the conditions and is scarcely the same twice. And, why not play another three different(!) holes with one click?

Unfortunately, they dropped the XPs for the 3 hole rounds from 30 => 20 => 10 within half a year.
