Nice. I don't think I've played more than 54 holes in one day on WGT before.

For someone using only starter clubs (or clubs that are just a tad above standard) that 67 on Kiawah is sweet :).

Yep, your putter has to be red-hot and you must hit lots of remarkable iron shots. I use starter clubs and my best score on Kiawah is a 67 but never got lower than that.

Not bad my friend, but it pales in comparison to some of my RL golfing adventures. Point being in 1979, myself and 3 friends arrived at  6.30am on a freezing November morning in Le Touquet (france, about a 2 hour drive south of Calais) . The night before we had been knocking back some warm beer in my mates pub in chelsea, when a French professor and his wife asked to join our company.

what seemed like a barrel of warm beer and 5 or 6 bottles of  french wine later, the good Professor and his wife said their  au revoirs and staggered out the pub into freezing fog of old London town. i hadn't realised at the time, but before the professor had left, he'd gave Bob ( the Pud owner) four passers to play free golf all day at" Le club de golf" in Le Touquet.  Before we knew it Bob had closed the pub, the clubs were squashed in to the boot and we were racing towards Dover to catch the early ferry.

As luck would have it we ended up being the first group off the tee, although we were all still drunk  we managed to finish the first round by 9.15 am. After a quick visit to the car park, to replenish our hip flakes, we set off on our second round.

By the days end we had completed four full rounds...... but i still feel to this day, if only that  dam windmill on the first hole hadn't broken down we could have played  five , maybe even six.

Hi. I did the same thing last night watching the cricket from England. I didn't score as well as you though. Oh, I actually played the island course and St Andrews twice each. I find the other two too hard, especially those f.....ing greens at Oakmont.

    Cheers,

I am going to play all four courses soon, that is an interesting challenge.  I do remember playing in some of the cancer fund raisers where we got paid to play as many holes as possible.  We played 2 balls off each tee from the white tees and got in 4 18 hole rounds in a day times 2 for the 2 balls.

Actually did this today for fun 8/14 while watching the PGA.  All ranked rounds and all 18 holes except for playing St Andrews as 2 nine holes round with friends.

Bethpage  master tees        66 with 7 birdies and 3 bogies

Kiawah master tees              63 with 9 birdies

St Andrews master tees        62 with 10 birdies

Oakmont master tees            64 with 7 birdies and 1 bogey

Lots of fun and a good way to waste an afternoon and some golf balls.

Did this today for the first time to get some practice with the new Legend tees and Tournament greens.  Was quite challenging and very fun!

    Kiawah     32-31 = 63     (9 birdies, 26 putts)

    Bethpage     33-32 = 65     (6 birdies, 1 bogey, 21 putts)

    St Andrews     30-33 = 63     (9 birdies, 25 putts)

    Oakmont     37-32 = 69     (6 birdies, 5 bogeys, 27 putts)
