Not bad my friend, but it pales in comparison to some of my RL golfing adventures. Point being in 1979, myself and 3 friends arrived at 6.30am on a freezing November morning in Le Touquet (france, about a 2 hour drive south of Calais) . The night before we had been knocking back some warm beer in my mates pub in chelsea, when a French professor and his wife asked to join our company.
what seemed like a barrel of warm beer and 5 or 6 bottles of french wine later, the good Professor and his wife said their au revoirs and staggered out the pub into freezing fog of old London town. i hadn't realised at the time, but before the professor had left, he'd gave Bob ( the Pud owner) four passers to play free golf all day at" Le club de golf" in Le Touquet. Before we knew it Bob had closed the pub, the clubs were squashed in to the boot and we were racing towards Dover to catch the early ferry.
As luck would have it we ended up being the first group off the tee, although we were all still drunk we managed to finish the first round by 9.15 am. After a quick visit to the car park, to replenish our hip flakes, we set off on our second round.
By the days end we had completed four full rounds...... but i still feel to this day, if only that dam windmill on the first hole hadn't broken down we could have played five , maybe even six.
