I would also suggest a best of par 4.

These have been suggested and turned away.

I have no issue with them if they use them like the par 3 courses, only for specific types of play so as not to ruin scoring averages.

A best of par 4's wouldn't hurt the average. It would be 36 per 9 or 72 for 18. Same as kiawah is now. But a simple solution to that might be to figure our average in relation to par and not strokes.

    +1

However whilst the best of' courses are some variation, they are the poor man's cousin compared to new courses.

Can the WGT assure the community that we will be getting two new stroke play courses per year for at least the next couple of years and a roadmap of where they see the game in the next five years?  By doing so it would include alternative courses should one of their desired courses not be available (such as an Open Course).

I know due to contractual obligations that the courses will not, or cannot be specified, however I feel that without this assurance there is the danger of losing more and more players. Yes I am aware that new players come and go all the time, but holding on to your existing customer base coupled with an expanding customer base is the ideal scenario for any company.
