I'm sure this has been suggested before but how come TPC Sawgrass course in Ponte Vedra / Jacksonville is not part of WGT yet?
I guess because they have acquired licences for other courses first.
According to the Wikipedia, its not planned at this stage.
Probably because Sawgrass wanted way too much money for the licensing. Same reason why you will probably never see Augusta National or any other ultra exclusive course on WGT either.
also i think its tied in to the tiger woods games with e.a sports.
The TPC at Sawgrass is one of the many TPC courses. I believe that Electronic Arts has a liscensing agreement with the tournament players that does not allow the courses to be used for another game.
