    oneeyedjohn:

Maybe I am a bit thick, but if they have the abaility to shoot CTTH course like Manele and Pebble, why not go the whole hog and shoot the full course for strokeplay.

Surely the effort required for CTTH courses cannot be much less than the full strokeplay.

While they still have to get their gear and personel to the course and do some airborne photos, I don't think that they measure and model the greens with the same precision than for a full game, and there is only one shot position per hole in CTTH, opposed to dozens through the hole.

And not having a license for the full course might prevent them from spending extra money, or they don't get the time from the course owner(?)

Plus, Pebble CTTH is an old WGT course which they revived lately. Before, there was an inofficial link available to play it as a guest, with Starters. Plus nice videos of the famous shots which they copied from former tournaments - some text is still in the hole informations.

Having just spent at least $100 dollars qualifying for the championship rounds (56 that should have been a 53 - missed putts from 3.5 ft, 5.5 ft and 9 ft), do WGT not see the potential for making money from 2 courses a year?

Or are they just devoting too much time to their baseball game, which I for one will never play.

I fear this will be the last year that I will play, as one course a year is just not good enough.

I am sure negotiations for the British Open course must have started last Summer (if not, why not?) and as soon as became clear that they were not going to get permission to do the course, they should have moved on to another course and started negotiating with them.

By the way, the lack of response by any WGT employee to this thread speaks volumes.

No communication as usual, which is the same as it's always been since I joined.
