Cool. I would like other pics of players that play the courses on WGT.

    BolloxInBruges:

Scorecard.  Not toooo bad until we got completely soaked, was tough with wet gloves, grips, and waterlogged course.

a tip. if your grips are so wet they are impossible to handle use a pair of these - they stick like glue.

only really get the benefit if everything is soaked.

i always keep a pair in the bag :)

Would love to make it down to Harbour Town sometime.  Myrtle Beach last summer and Kiawah this summer were both very nice destinations, especially for golf!

@ Doublemocha   The lowest I've ever been was a 2.1 handicap in 2003.  If I had to guess now it is closer to a 10 due to living so far north (Duluth, MN) that the season is only 6 months long.   Played a total of 6 rounds so far in 2013, tough to play well that infrequently!

@Adam, thanks glad you enjoyed them!

Couple other photos to wrap up the trip report....

Forgot to mention playing at Osprey Point, another of the 5 courses at the Kiawah resort designed by Tom Fazio. It's the closest one to the closest to the Ocean course at rough 1/2 mile apart.    This round was not part of the comped rounds so we had to pay the 130$ afternoon rate.   Our caddy at the Island course said it was the 2nd worst of the 5 courses on the island so I should of done better research :)  Course was in immaculate shape and was very difficult in 20-25 mph winds and OB on the majority of the holes.

Par 3 3rd hole over a salt marsh.

    Par 3 11th.

Then our final day in the Charleston area we played Charleston National.  Was a pretty good layout being a Reese Jones Jr design.  The course was in rather rough condition however after getting a lot of recent rainfall.  None of the tees had been mowed in what looked like roughly 5 days due to being waterlogged.  Assuming that the majority of the year it'd be worth the 50$ rate we found on golfnow.com.

    Par 3 2nd hole.

Par 3, think this is #15.

While typing this up I realized I hit all 4 of the above posted par 3s in regulation but didn't birdie any of them :)

On our way out of Charleston our flight got delayed nearly 2 hours due to thunderstorms in the vicinity.  This resulted in us missing our connecting flight at O'hare.  So I got to spend the night in a deserted terminal C playing some WGT to pass the time.

    Not a person in sight...

My brother was lucky enough to get a few hours of sleep, I couldn't get comfortable so stayed up all night until our 8:30am flight (by the time we got tickets reissued it was nearly midnight so it wasn't worth trying to find a hotel).

If there any specific holes you'd like to see a picture of I'd be glad to post more, got a sh*tload :)
