  Har!  It was like using a noodle to coax a tennis ball across a shag carpet...but others seem to be adapting to conditions well, so more power to 'em...literally!

  I couldn't get the speeds. I await the champ greens and heavy winds tho thats for sure

  gave it 3 tries only .. 60,61 & 58 (with 2 stupid lip outs) ..

  fun course; gotta put some thought into those drives, especially back 9 .. when will it be open to regular play ?

  Chris, those are fine scores.  Far as I know it's been open to mp, alt and stroke play for a while now...and yep, 3 wd gets a lot of work off the tees on the back 9.

  Select Merion then just to the right of Championship Events select Experience Merion.  You'll find three options:  Play Single Player, Join a Group, and Create a Group...that's your ticket.

  We still have great players putting up fantastic scores in brutal conditions during the second round of the Virtual US Open.

  Big Ups to all the qualifiers who slog through both rounds. Take the pride you deserve in an accomplishment so few have the ability to achieve.

  Yep, still some serious contenders left but the list is dwindling.  AgentBrown's 114 has a good chance of holding up, I think.

  I was never in the running and didn't expect to be, but enjoyed the experience immensely...might even finish in the top 60 or 70 (currently tied for 45th) which is way better than I expected.

  Best of luck to those still to play and congrats to all who've finished.
