    Hi Michael,

I am sorry but Team Oddballs will have to withdraw from the league I'm afraid.

I simply cannot get enough players interested, especially with 18 hole games - Most of our players work and have only limited time available to play.

Also, I will be away on holiday from Sept 29th so would not be there to make sure all players attend games etc,

I am very sorry but I feel that this one is not for us, unfortunately as I really like the idea - maybe at a later stage when I have a more reliable player pool to chose from.

Played Sledgehammer 1961 on our RSG round. He won 65 - 69.

Moderate wind with it blowing in all the wrong directions on the worst possible holes. lol

It was great fun and close until the closing holes. For me it was a case of some days it works and some it don't. Some very good long putts from Sledge. :)

As I said to Sledge in the game, think he robbed me of my luck on the 1st tee =p lol

    Well played to Sledgehammer1961 :)

Matches are still being played each week but not seeing much posting of results in main forum here. ??

Played my match against THEdogleg at Oakmont. All a bit messy with some very good shots (few instant replays between us both) and some very very bad shots. lol

    I won 70 - 76 but all good fun. :)

(I wont mention the 253yd par 3 #8, think dogleg forget to change to 3W from driver. He certainly explored new territory not set foot in for before =p :) )

Players v DGCC week 6 fixtures

This final weeks fixtures was started off by the two respective captains and resulted in a win for Lukewestwood

    Scores Lukewestwood10  - 64   beat Dubfore - 68

I got to a flying start with a hat-trick of birdies, but a bogey on the 4th against Dubfore's birdie had us all square nip and tuck for the rest of the front nine, a birdie run by myself turning into the back nine opened up clear water between us, whilst my play was very good on everything apart from the par 3's Michael played a few fantastic shots , but it just wasnt enough to close the gap.

Great game played in great spirits

Thanks for the game michael good luck to you and your team for future games,

    Colin
