I don't find most of the pins to be outrageous. The only one that I really think is unfair is #9 at Oakmont...the front right pin. You need to get lucky to have a dead full shot with full bs to even have a chance to stop it near the hole, and if you go 5 feet past, it is impossible to make the putt so you will automatically be left with a 10 ft par putt, at least. Or you can take the safe route up the left side of the green, but a good shot doesn't get rewarded there! That is the only really bad pin in this game IMO...

Ones I dont find so bad

Cabo 18-stay below it, it is a very easy putt

Beth 15-come on, this is very easy

Merion 5-sling it out to the right and past the hole. easy par, decent chance at bird

merion 6-stay short right of the hole, its really easy to drain a 15 footer straight up that hill

merion 15-you are coming in with a wedge, you should be able to put it in a 20x20 area

STA2- play it short left of the hole, it rolls down

These pins aren't that tough, you just need to understand how to play them

It IS possible to birdie, but I have hit so many great shots that have only resulted in 10 footers for par...I think I have 4 birdies on that hole ever (with that pin), and two were from that front bunker, and one was when I had a perfect number in and I put it  foot past the hole and it literally stopped on the lip, and the last was when I made a 20 footer that goes sideways from the front left of the green...it is easily the stupidest pin ever

Agreed this is the worst pin ever, this hole position has ruined many a good round for me and in the 15 months here, this was my fist and only birdie to date.
