I agree, and I have birdied #5 precisely the way you suggest. But it sure is disconcerting that I cannot l carry the bunker w/o going off the back end of the green

A good flop works well also. I find that I can get  30 yards out I get closer with a flop.

It's possible, with perfect equipment and knowledge and skills - in this sequence.

Take it as a burdon which life loaded on your back - there's no guarantee given that you might hit all Par5 greens in two :)

    Janisrip:

I rented the bladez --cost  a lot of $. I applied as much backspin as possible. The results were negligible. But I sure as heck noticed a difference if i missed the ding by a hair: Wham! Off the green.  I am waiting for the L83 Ping's. They may not be any better as I won't spend more than 180 crdits for balls.

Huh? I often miss the ding and yet I can still get the Bladez very close.

Here is the trick with the Bladez... you need to work the ball toward the hole with the wind, similar to how Mickelson or Bubba do. Master that shot, and you will cut several off of your score. Just had a 31 on the second 9 at Kiawah with cheap 65 credit balls... Bladez got me close to many holes

5 at Bethpage can be easily held with Bladez and 4 dot spin Nikes. Not a gimme bird like the front hole on 15... but one can still have a putt at it

NEVER gauge your distance based upon avatar movement!

Always use the power meter alone. Works for me
