I was playing Merion. On #17 (a par 3), I drove the ball over the green. The ball landed on the tee box of another hole (#18?) and made a very wacky move where it sped up and took a turn, ending up in some rough. (Of course, I did not save a replay so I should claim to have witnessed Bigfoot while I am at it.) Am I to assume that the ball cannot or will not end up on other tee boxes, yardage markers, pavement, Swilcan Bridge, etc.?

    No you aren't.

At least I've had balls land on the road crossing STA#18 - they were "dropped" from a "immovable obstruction" disregarding their local rules, and I heard of players voluntarily hitting at front tee boxes with success under certain game conditions.

I've hit onto other tee boxes on purpose goofing off ...always had them stay there so don't know. I also hit the bridge to the left across the waste area at Kiawah #4 and had it rocket down the cart path before popping back out onto the fairway. Hit a yardage plate on Kiawah #1 fairway and got a whopping 334 yard drive once. And lastly, hit a shot onto the concrete cart path on the second Wolf Creek skill challenge to see what it would do. It bobbled around and rolled back down the cart path before coming to a stop and then giving me an "unplayable lie" message on the screen similar to the "on the green" message you see when you land on the green. There are more that I've experienced aswell...

Try it just for fun and see what you can hit/land on with your golf balls ...

    :-)
