    mohaviegreen:
Guess what, the ball, off the 150 club stuck right where it landed. On tournament speed greens, 7 inch downhill slope, the ball stuck there 5 ft just right of pin.

Yeah that's one of the few areas on that green that the ball will stick, nothing unusual about it. Note it in your head and move on.

The rest of your concerns could be addressed with some camomille tea or a joint.

soor two days after this post amazingly my putting meter worked fine now on the third day its jumping again..looking at tourney scores I find it hard to believe that u can shoot 21 under par on a 18 hole course these guys are waaay better than us hacks.so that brings into question after e certain tier does wgt leave u alone..anyway I hope they sleep good at nite taking my hard earned money..just played an 18 hole tounrny and missed 6 10 ft or less putt cause my meter was jumping..lol

Check your game options and see if the putting grid is turned on. With the putting grid turned on you can get some stutters when putting that you won't get otherwise.

    alanti:

these putts have either been hit too hard (albeit marginally) and have not been the right line - it is simple as that.

Exactly.  The game physics allow the ball to drop if it's within the hoke and at a speed low enough to fall.  If you hit dead centre hole this can be 4 or so feet too hard but if the ball is on the edge of the hole it needs to be dead weight to go in.

We all do it, we just don't all get our knickers in a twist over it.

So many people want to make fun of players who see exactly whats going on, and want to protect good old wgt . If wgt says jump these guys ask "how high??"  Just have to ignore them.

Do I think WGT manipulates rounds?  OF COURSE THEY DO.

Can any one here honestly say (if you're good enough to notice) YOU SCORE -8 OR -9 ON FRONT 9 IN ready go  and game changes on back and you struggle to score well??

This also works both ways, you could be playing poorly then WGT gives you a helping hand and boosts your scores helping you land close or sink putts.  Its there in its patent. It happens in matchplay, ready go's or any ranked tournament.

Having spent 6 weeks away i've started to play again and Its comical watching it all happen once again.  At the end of the day Its just a game, we're not in control of outcomes, wgt are, its just like playing online poker, every one gets a chance to win & chances to lose., you've just got to get on with it and take wgt for what it is.  A BUSINESS who want to make as much money as possible so of course they're going to stop me winning every tournament LOL or joe shmoe would stop playing.  Seriously, its how the game's PROGRAMMED, We cant change it so we just got to live with it.  I might win 30 matches today but i can assure you tomorrow even if i try my hardest i will get beat by a guy i won easily 5 -0 because its MY TURN TO LOSE! But its a two way streak, yes wgt manipulates certain shots but I'm also to blame for the other half for missing ding, miss reading putts etc etc, So we cant blame wgt for everything, half is our fault too.

Remember, Its just a golf GAME, wgt don't care if we missed a birdie on 6 because the dinged shot started off from pin not where i had moved the aimer right, nor does the majority of wgt lovers.  You can either like it or lump it, Mr wgt has made the game this way, he has patent to prove it.  You'vee just got to ignore all the wtf shots we blatently see and take a deep breath and REMEMBER Its part of the game, Its the SAME for ALL OF US, just that some players notice it more than others because some players ARE CAPABLE of scoring -9 for a front so can see the difference between a deviation or their mistake

One thing taking a break has done for me is make me realize that there's more to life than playing WGT for hours a day.  I am not willing to dedicate as much time to wgt as i used to, maybe 1 round every few days.  As has been mentioned, this is JUST A GAME,  yet we get charged just as much for balls equipment THAN IN REAL LIFE.  Thats what you need to see.  We get less and less courses, EVEN MORE BUGS AND ERRORS than ever before, yet we get charged even more for equipment.  Wgt dont really care about us the players and how we feel about the game, all wgt want is our $$. And the more they can get for giving us less the better their bank balance is.

Most treat wgt as a game to relax with and pass time others are trully addicted and spend way to much time here (lonely life maybe?)  Taking a break gives you a whole better prospective about this game/site and will do some players a world of good.

Some days you just cant play well regardless, other days you will get shots like this out of the blue like the par 5 ready go i was playing now: http://www.wgt.com/replay.aspx?ID=1d9c2699-fd44-44ad-a71b-a26e011a38cb , or my 9 yard chip on cabo #2 above the hole which over shot by 7 yards and left me with a 22 foot return putt which i sunk even after missing ding on break side, or this 35 footer for eagle:http://www.wgt.com/replay.aspx?ID=3211d29a-358c-46b2-9a6c-a26e01236ee3 .  Some rounds are "fixed" for you to do well, like this ready go i was playing, ITS MY TURN TO WIN, other times only average or struggle so every thing evens itself out and the good always seems to slightly outweigh the bad enough to keep us playing again.  This game would be BORING if every round i was landing within 2 yards of the pin.  Although frustrating at times, Its a good thing that not every 2 shot will land in same place although we might expect it to.  But i found it funny after scoring my double eagle on par 5 ready go that on every hole afterwards where i usually can eagle  such as hole 9 whistler, my drive would deviate straight into rough to stop any eagle attempt.  Its like i was "allowed" 2 eagles for the front which i scored in 1 hole.  LOL

At least you admit this.  That's what gets my goat here, only about 0.5% of players will ever publicly admit that a bad shot might have been because they didn't hit the ball correctly.

I may come across as someone who wears WGT sunglasses that filter out all the bad stuff but I ain't, I just get pizzed off with people moaning all the time that WGT is always out to get them.  When was the last time someone wrote to say Hey, I missed the ding real bad on a 10 foot putt today and it went in?  There are just so many idiots around.  I'm not saying there are any in this thread but after reading so much utter bollox in here I sometimes can't take any more and have a go at someone who might not really have deserved it.
