My thanks to all of you. My dad was a Marine Corp Gunny in the Korean war. He was tough as hell on me growing up, got to a point where I really didn't like the man. When I got married in 1970 and he saw I accepted the responsibility of being a husband and a father it all changed. Dad has been my best friend since then and I was not ready to lose him. I made a trip I could not afford to do but never thought twice. When he came out of surgery and got coherent he asked my mother, where is Rich. She said waiting outside your door.
