I see a correlation here!  Just like at the U.S. Open every year the pros grumble and cuss the conditions: length of holes, deep rough, speed of greens.  Seems to be about the same here at WGT.  (Though I do wnat to know how some guys on WGT can average 66?!)

To the grumblers, I have said before and I will say again...

    Read this.

    Have a nice day.

I refuse to play the Beth page course again.  In, fact I refuse to invest any money into this game until it becomes more realistic.  It's awfully funny how this game is set up for you to believe that a better club means better distance or accuracy.  WRONG! In REAL golf and REAL life it's the person's acquired EXPERIENCE and SKILLS that matter.  Here's a math problem for all of you to ponder:  I'll take a ride to the course down the street, pull out the crappy Lynx driver of mine and hit my cheap Top Flite ball about 270 to 280 no problem. But, then I come home, and log on here, use the Ping with a 20mph wind at my back, and what maybe 250?  For a game that seems to be making an attempt at the "virtual", acquired experience and skills have been left out, why?  The tier process here is a joke.  The only difference it makes is what tee your hitting from. For those that have bashed Tiger Woods game, at least there is a process one goes through on that game that improves your skills and accuracy the longer you play.  That's my suggestion here.

I definately agree with the comments given, I am a 6 handicap and hit a 9-iron 150yd, who the hell hits a 6 iron 150? a 30 handicap? I can appreciate the effort to make the game more "realistic" to the average golfer however allow clubs that reflect a good players ability and distance.

Giday, does it really matter? were all on a level playin field except for those that need to pay for the "edge"

so, if YOU CANT REACH IT IN 2, NEITHER CAN I...Big Deal Ijust played a young guy who said he had NOT paid for clubs, but could hit WAY further than me when i was spot-on? Another flaw in the game?...NO  just would be cheaters...lol...just get over it and have fun guyz.....

I think Neil 64 sums is up best  -This is a game that is based on competing against other real people who have the same limitations. I personally hate games where if you dont break 60 you have had a bad day...

If it really hurts you to not hit a par 4 in two, think of it as a par 5. Pro golf has been ruined by 350 yard drives, so it is a nice change for me to think about something other than drive wedge drive wedge all day.

Golf is not about shooting ten under par every round. Yes, I can go to my course and fly that trap that 270 yards off the tee, but it is just not the point. This game has finally made par a good score. It is the first golf game I have ever played where I am relativly happy with par. I reckon that means that the challenge is set right. Just because normal golf has gone stupid doesn't mean WGT has to as well.

I hope that makes sense - Tiger Woods is not WGT, and lets all be thankful for that
