Can someone explain the pop up message, "you have been removed from the lobby"?

I was playing a good game in my tier and this pops up periodicly. Who does this and why?

When you are joining a game in the lobby someone that sarted the game can kick you to the curb. They see you before you see them.

Start a game and see. You can kick anyone out as thet try to join. Especially the orange dots.

I understand when the game is just starting you can kick someone off.  But we were already 3 holes into the game, and that notice popped up!

How can they do that then??

People often kick high level/ low tier players from their games as they think they will be at a disadvantage.

I have never seen or heard of how it is done after play begins.

Perhaps courtney knows as she has been here a while and knows quite a bit.

Sure, these players have XP and often very good equipment but play easy tee box, they go on green in 2 shots when you need 3 and so whith shorts approchs vs very longs.
