We have 3 UK courses (St Andrews, Royal St Georges & Celtic Manor); I guess sometime in the future we'll see another (Carnoustie maybe, or The Belfry, or Royal Lytham St Annes - or what about Royal County Down even, or Windrush?).

But are we going to also get others from  Europe, Dubai, Australia, Singapore, Japan... South Africa... I have nothing against US courses - but variety IS the spice of life....

    Or 4.

Four new courses are in the works or scheduled for addition to WGT.

Pinehurst #2 for 18 hole stroke play - finishing touches are being applied and we will be playing Pinehurst #2 in 2014 USGA US Open condition in a month or 2 (May?). This year's US Open is June 12-15.

Already photographed and being programmed for release later in the year is an 18 hole stroke play course made up of selected par 3 holes from the Bandon Dunes resort golf courses.

Because of a renewed and expanded agreement Pebble Beach is scheduled to be photographed and will be available for 18 hole stroke play sometime after the Bandon Dunes par 3 course.

Chambers Bay is the 2015 USGA US Open venue so it will added for 18 hole stroke play after Pebble Beach. The 2015 US Open is scheduled for June 18-21, 2015 so we should get Chambers Bay right about a year after we get Pinehurst #2 this year.

I think it's a cost issue. I don't think we'll see another Uk course. WGT are based in America and unless they feel like coming over for a summer holiday they won't be visiting our shores anytime soon.

I would like Wentworth course to be on here. It has so much history hosting the World Matchplay. It also hosts the European Tour flagship event every year. It also happens to be just down the road from me.

I think it's more a use licensing agreement issue than a cost factor.

I think another significant factor is that some of the well known golf courses are just not interested in having a virtual version of their course online.

WGT makes back their cost to add a course in a fairly short, from a business perspective, period of time.

Celtic Manor in my opinion doesnt count its CTTH!!

We need stroke play courses, not 1 hit wonders.

We currently have 10, 18 hole stroke play courses not counting the Best Of variations.

I'm not sure there is a "need" for more, but WGT will be adding more none the less.
