    Hi there,

We aren't recruiting at the moment, I will however contact you in the future if you are unattached to a country club.

    SEL US Open Report

The week long 2nd Major of the Southern England Links Golf Club Tour of 2014 took place recently and even with the World Cup starting and Father’s Day taking place, 28 hardy souls out of the 43 who started, completed the event around Congressional Golf Club. The event saw 4 days of changeable conditions, with the wind blowing hard on the 2nd round and Champ greens on the final day, to mix it up.

As usual, a good mix of Tiers was present from Tour Legends to Tour Pros with a healthy Tier competition.

The Tour Legends didn’t have it all their own way, but stevietwotimes continued his quest for a clean sweep of Majors, topping the leaderboard from start to finish and in the end he got his name on this year’s SEL US Open Trophy.  He finished 6 shots ahead of yours truely, who managed to split SEL's 2 Tour Legends. 4th to 9th were split by 1 shot showing the great competition available here at SEL.

PaulEnglish3, our next Legend in waiting took the Tour Masters Tier equalling and beating most of the Legends.  MyHandicapIsGolf and seethreepio took the Masters and Tour Pro side events respectively.

Another cracking event, with almost 20000 credits in sponsorship prize money split between the winners of each tier.

The Tour bus rolls ever onwards and it’s back to the normal Tour Calendar until the next “big” one, the Southern Open to be held at the Royal & Ancient St Andrews over 14th-20th July with 10500 in sponsorship already generously pledged.  Qualifying begins in earnest with The Irish Open this week.

That Ryder Cup thing sounds unique and interesting. Hope you have success with that.
