Raelenerose: every other issue i have had with playing this game has been some magical problem somewhere between my computer and wgt land(and i'm so lucky that the current problem at the time doesnt affect any other site or game i visit) although the problems always seem to dissappear with a wgt update/maint or 1 solved problem then leads to a new 1 or 2 ,but it is never wgt's fault.
Spot on with what you're saying. We get told to "clear our cache" as If Its some miracle cure to everything. As Bollox was saying earlier too, I rarely clear my cache only after updates so if i do clear my cache do I notice any difference??
Raelenerose: My computer i now use is way better than the one i first used when i started playing this game ,but alas it plays much the same.
Same here still my meter is not 100% smooth (will It ever be???) but to be fair to WGT my better PC has made game load much quicker and don't get me wrong, the game plays flawlessly apart from my meter wanting to kick 3/4 way down or a little stutter most the time. My Callaway Big Bertha is the only club i have which will give me a smooth meter all the time
Raelenerose: Iv'e been disconnected/booted from games with no option to get back many many times and also booted from games then booted again before you can play the next shot until alas i discoed 3 times your disqualified..how hard are they up for cash really.
I wont play skins any more because I'm afraid one of us will get booted, BUT i played matchplay last night and opponent got disconnected but we got taken back to game menu OK so "HOPEFULLY" fingers crossed the problem is fixed.
Raelenerose: Now having said all of that, this sadly is the best online golf game there is at the moment (it could be so much better though IMO) and its my choice to play it and i do ..why because i have made many many good friends within the wgt community and on occassions the game can be fun ,and it can be very frustrating when the game has issues..So as i said if your fortunate enough to have no issues or very few issues or have never encountered the issues that another member is encountering please dont be belittling those that do, try sitting back and chuckling to yourself while you thank your lucky stars that youv'e been blessed....thats where the love is.
