  I have seen what Dave is talking about. Regular stroke play round, game boots you to the main game client. No way to get back to game. Happened twice yesterday.

  Got dude here says he has only been disconnected 6 times in over 2 years. Somehow i find that seriously hard to believe.

  Seems the more experienced players with the most ranked rounds and time spent playing the game agree with my assessment,thank you all (except our 5 year level 30 amateur with only 6 ranked rounds who knows diddely squat about the game) for your replies,now I hope WGT pays attention to this thread and will take a serious look on their end for the glitches we are experiencing......

  They are all matchplays,or multiplayer rounds,not tournaments.Tournaments do not time out until finish date.Have not seen anyone with a problem in tournaments or single play games.

   

  The US Open qualifier IS a tournament per say...it is the only one I have lost connection in  and it happened 3 times, but when I rebooted I had the choice of continuing the round unlike Dave...

  I wonder if this might have something to do with that MP thing where you can supposedly freeze out the other player. Maybe WGT is trying to fix that.

  Because i lost credits when i was 1 up earlier because you instantly get timed out or if opponent gets booted and game then boots you and you have to close browser you cant get back to game it freezes and only gives you a forfeit option so if you close browser to try and reset you get timed out yourself.  When a player in my skins match got booted i instantly started filming and as youo can see he immediately starts off on ZERO on timer,  Filmed to prove you cant get back to game:

  Before the last update, I got booted 6 times in 2 hours trying to play a couple club tourneys. Since the update, I had one bad day, but, with some re-adjustments to my comp settings, its been doing excellent

  It's a game on the internet with thousands playing at the same time. It is not perfect but it sure beats the crap out of Tiger Woods Golf online by EA Sports. ;)

  Dave,

           this is insane! I have had few issues with connection and game play, ie meter skip and such, over 4 1/2 years. But the past few days have been terrible! Now, I didn't experience anything near what you did, but have been booted from a few multi player games. My biggest concern, is WGT going to reimburse me for lost ball juice? Being as how I can't afford balls out of pocket and work my ass off watching videos and such!! Well, I don't work my ass off, but it is very time consuming! Also, I don't understand how people can defend WGT when sht like this happens!!! IT IS on their end and they OWE us!!!!!!!

  Not defending anything, just trying to understand the issues some people have since I don't see them. Helps to understand what's going on and then see if there are fixes or workarounds.
