It seems to me since the visual format of the game changed a few months back, the "wind factor" has changed as well.
Not that I'm complaining, they're tournaments after all and they should be hard (even though for 18 holes on the same course, 2/3 of the holes being against the wind is a physical impossibility, given the courses are based on real courses and some holes go into the wind and some against).
But my musing/question is this: If someone plays the course during a tournament on a day when the winds are "down" or are not as severe, is the Level Score adjusted accordingly?
Example: Someone plays the current Best of Par Four's on a day when the winds are rough - consistently over 25 mph, most of the time into the face of the golfer - and scores a 77. Someone else (same level) plays on another day when the winds are much calmer and also shoots a 77. Is one 77 considered "better" than the other? How, then, would Level Scores be adjusted for this? Are they adjusted for this? Do the logarithms take all this into account?
