  I am normally not jumping on my cheeks for WGT courses....but this time I must congratulate WGT for "our" Pinehurts 2 course.

  The real one looks so dry & ugly that it ought to be called  "Hurts at the Pines" instead.....

  Sorry to insist....

  I was watching today the Us Women Open and the american commentators were upset about the course being so dry and that players, even tho hitting from fairway, it was like hitting from sand/soil.

  As the approach was done from "soil" the ball had not enough back spin to help them to keep the ball on the green and 80% of the approaches rolled over to the back of the green to bunkers or...more soil 

  

   

  

   

  

   

  

  Why don't they water the fairways?, it is not a local tournament, it is The Us Open....gezzz

  It may of looked like that during the photo shoot as well and WGT simply edited the brown spots green for aesthetics.

  I watered the fairway myself....no biggy.

  ....and we here at WGT, hit the approach from a very nice, clean & flat fairway GRASS lie ;-)

  Ladies are on the run today, tomorrow & sunday too.....yummy
