no idea if 56 or better on all courses have been done in UL - im scared of congo cos i lose a heap of balls there in regular courses - might need 10 sleeves to last me a freakin round of UL there lol

merion is tough cos of the undulations on the fws - gotta get lucky for some shots there. i had a weird shot there the other day on the 7th - drove to the right just beneath the bunker and had a huge right to left slope there - so i took aim at the house on the right and hey presto it goes into the house LOL - apparently i landed on a flat piece of real estate which showed a humungus slope. lost a ball lol

As far as I am aware I am a WGT nation member. I just got the email invite for the uneven lies monthly on pinehurst, where do you click to play now?

All I can see is the information about the tournament and the leaderboard but not how to actually play. am I missing something?

It's in the strokeplay tournaments on the game client page. Basically the same place as the free weekly & monthly tournies.

Got to agree with you all about Dans 54..awesome score. Fmags 56 & Jmoneys 57 is also great going. I got lucky with a hot putter in my 58. Think my ave distance to pin was about 20 something.

    Thanks :-)

My WGT nation membership hadn't been confirmed for some reason, now it has been.

I don't get the uneven lies tournament. in what way is it different from a normal round of golf?

You might want to play a practice mode round or 2 of Uneven Lies before you play in the Tourney. The lie of the ground effects the shot trajectory is the simplest way I can think of to explain UEL from flat lie games. If the ball is above your feet, it's going left of target unless you adjust the aimer or off ding against it. If below, it's going right of target. Also, uphill lies take distance away from shots and some downhill lies also do unless they don't.

Like I first wrote, you've got to try some practice holes to get a "feel" for this type play.

No need to practice. Just play in it - it's unlimited play so use that to get used to it.

Pinehurst kicks my *** at the best of times. I don't think I have had one good round on there. maybe the uneven lie tournament isn't for me.

Well, this feels like the darn VUSO Qualifier all over again!

In Legend tier the (current) target is 57 to take the lead... only now, unlike the Qualy, it's with unevens!!!

I had one of those incredible starts in an attempt that began last night, getting to -10 after 10 (and I'd even missed a 9ft eagle putt on #5). I'd never managed that good a start in the Qualifier.

There'd been a lot of luck: perfect wind on #4 and found a very nice bounce on the green too to lead to birdie there.

But it was already very late when I made the turn, and I should have recognized the warning signs with an approach left 7 yards short on #10. I made that putt, but on the next hole managed to subtract the extra distance for wind instead of adding it to the shot. Ooops! Waste of what was a dinged perfect line approach. And on the next I had a bad misjudgment of the slope effect. Decided it was time to stop, and on the resumption today I was hoping for a clearer head seeking the 3 birdies needed. Got one on #13 with a solid run-up approach, but made a hash of #14 2nd shot, and on #15 stabbed an awful attempt at very makable 8ft birdie down the hill from left of the hole. Too much wind against to reach the hole on #16. Got routine bird on #17, and then it was down the 18th needing one last birdie. Sadly clicked too early on approach, and then watched this 15ft curler slide agonizingly just by...

Not surprisingly, I don't have the tiebreak, lol! (If only it counted from the front 9...)

Cor --- not a criticism at all .. i love the stuff you do for the WGT community ...

    Just one question.

You must spend 1/2 your life taking screen shots !!!   Is there a secret way to do it quickly ?  I'd love to do some of this but I just don't have the patience.

    Tks, Lou
