We'll have to leave it to Ben to top that. I certainly can't!!
fmagnets: We'll have to leave it to Ben to top that. I certainly can't!!
But, I'll bet you certainly try to. And I wouldn't bet that you can't top (or at least match) it.
Nope. I will keep trying for a 55 or 56, but only because I've been -14 on the 18th tee already and blown it. At least if I can play that well again and finish it off it will banish the demons (temporarily!). I'm not good enough at bendy sidehill putts to get through 18 holes UEL there with fewer than 3 misses.
Thanks guys! Thought you all might like to see the card and stats. Can't say how many re-starts I had but it took me a few days to get use to UELs. Never really wanted to play in them before but it turned out to be pretty challenging and some good fun with a small dose of frustration while in the learning process. lolOverall, it wasn't that hard and I would do it again.
I don't think my score is a lock. There are a few who can beat it! Good luck! ;)
What about me too guys
awesome card!
considering my best at PH on regular lies is a 57 - the challenge is out there for someone else lol
2, 4 and both those par5s get me good - damn approaches always seem to be on a huge angle and either are short or rolls offf the green for a super hard pitch attempt lol
may have to think about changing irons dammit
There you have it in a nutshell. Average 9ft from the pin, but only 19 putts. I'd hope to do it in 6 or 7 feet in a good round, but still wouldn't have that few putts! Maybe WGT will introduce a new hover putter with 10 precision and 10 forgiveness, where the ball floats to the hole and drops without taking any break. Fingers crossed for the next update :-)
Looks like this and the TransAmerica are both being led in the Legend tier by someone with 60 ranked rounds to his name, the second of which came in the middle of May. Some people are just quick learners, I guess.
Don't know what's going on around here, but there seems to be a sudden explosion of players who hit level 90 with very few ranked rounds and then play like god. Take a look at this tournament ID for example. 1st place is someone that's been discussed elsewhere, 2nd place is a Tour Pro. Virtually no ranked rounds until hitting L90, then cleaning up in everything with the R11 irons. Same MO every time.
fmagnets:2nd place is a Tour Pro
Did OK at a Whistler RG too.
2nd placed person at Whistler also L90, and member since Feb.
May want to also check out the 55s in the Transamerica.
Wild West multi heaven round here.
