+1 to that! Congratulations Dan on an outstanding score (that incidentally matches the 54 you posted with what I believe were identical conditions in the Qualifier).
Dan is one of the few remaining players in the very top echelon on WGT who hadn't yet revealed their hand as someone with UEL skills, so as an UEL advocate, it's very exciting to see this score (as well as being not a little terrifying, lol!)
I would argue that this helps show that the UEL game just needs strong-enough incentives to attract more (and the very best) players. The substantial purse on offer for this tourney is a welcome development...
... although, along with adding my gratitude that this tourney has been created, I do want to make a plea for such UEL events to get a similar format to the other prestigious WGT tourneys, namely to have a single-play element. Last year's similar Legends UEL Merion Challenge (right after the VUSO, essentially making it, like this one, the UEL community's premier annual event) was a 2-round tourney, first one being unlimited, second one being single-play, as are all the Virtual Tour events. (And of course, the VUSO itself has gone further this year in the single-play direction with 4 single rounds.) A month-long unlimited tourney isn't quite the same thing...
