    Wise words Cerino!

My point against the common "No Caddie" wish is that the old bloke at least brings the selection close to the correct position. With a bit of experience you know which mistakes he makes and correct them easily. In most cases, I'd have more work with a neutral start. BTW, which should be "neutral"?

Yes,I do agree with what you are saying here,As this in my opinion would be a step in the right direction,However what I do not understand is the people that are so afraid of the change. And we are not asking to remove the caddie just to have an OPTION of disabling it,If we so choose,Just how is that affecting the ones that choose not to disable it? And also just how many of these people have sat down and thought that it is this fear of change that could quite possibly be stopping this from being the game it could possibly be, For everyone, not just the chosen few?

To be clear, I don't want that change or option, I just dislike certain settings.

And, changes are difficult - costly and dangerous for the program, regardless of players' preferences.

Everything considered, I think WGT is entertainment but it is also a learning program

You've figured it out!  That's 'cause you're super smart!  Look what else he can do.  ;-)

ps The network I was at used only 5% of that switcher's capabilities.

Will you please stop setting the putter strength automatically to 100 when you're on the fringe? It's pretty damn annoying. If I wanted it set to that, I would do it myself!

I must admit, I find it mildly amusing when I see a noob smash a ball for 100ft when the flag's just in front of their nose.

Yes, it is a pain for new players who haven't quite figured out that WGT's auto-caddy sometimes likes to get up to a bit of mischief BUT as many have stated look at the increments; you have all the information you need.

Soon you'll find it's second nature to adjust the putting increment when playing from the fringe.

No reason to be sorry, Bud, it's just a "face the facts" situation.  All mental/physical processes one needs to go thru prior to swinging are entirely up to you.  Now, please do not take this wrong but I see you're a Level 68 TP with a HC of 67+ and you've been a member for almost 4 1/2 years.  So I'm guessing you don't put much time into the game (reason(s) don't matter).  You really need to formulate a constant and consistent routine covering all options available.  This includes making sure your meter is set correctly.  Sometimes, you'll still forget something (I know from personal experience) but it isn't up to WGT to fix for you.

What they give is a suggestion only...even if it's totally stupid.
