All to often I see WGT and it members focusing on the great courses. While I agree many of them would be great to play on I am quite sure the negotiations process can be tormenting at best just because of who they are. My suggestion has always been that WGT should continue to work them but also focus on the 2nd tier courses that are probably a lot more willing to let you digitize their courses because of the free press. Here is a list of courses in no particular order that are worth that look

Old Macdonald at Bandon Dunes Resort
    Clog Hill
    Mauna Kea
    Forest Dunes
    French Lick Resort
    Southern Dunes Golf Club
    Tobacco Road Golf Club
    Pacific Dunes
    Bandon Dunes
    Blackwolf Run
    Chambers Bay Golf Course
    Brandon Trails
    World Woods
    Four Seasons Resort-Lanai
    Whistling Straits
    The Greenbrier

    Just a thought..........

Just like ALL americans....you seem to live under the miss-guided illusion that America IS the world, where as it actually only comprises 4.8% of the worlds total land mass. There are golf courses outside of the USA !!!

You don't know me so don't put a label on me! There is an old saying about assuming and what it does. You just made a complete ass out of yourself with your stupid comment. My point was something totally different and obviously you did not get that! I don't know that much about British or European courses so I did not put them in there, You want to put some in there go ahead, I would not presume tell others which ones are great since I DO NOT KNOW ANY. I have only had the pleasure of playing a few when I lived in Europe.

Now if you want to put a label on me go ahead but let me give you a few facts. I am married to a European, I have lived in Europe off an on for 10 years. So ALL of us Americans is a very stupid thing to say. But I will just go back to mentioning the old saying about assumptions!

I think all of the suggested courses are great, but Oakmont is already on WGT yet although you can play ranked rounds on it, we are still unable to choose it as a tournament site in our CC. I'd like to get an explanation as to why. It may have some kind of sponser tie ins but our members are kinda getting tired of only 3 18 hole courses to choose from. If anybody knows why please let me know so I can pass it along. Thanks

Not sure why but it is on the road map coming up in 30 to 90 days I hope it is sooner.
