Marco129:
For my clubs and balls, I use the following as a general rule of thumb:
(Shots hit with full backspin)
Straight against the wind, add 1 yd for every mph of wind.
Wind from a 90 degree angle, aim 1 yd to the side for each mph of wind.
Full tail wind, subtract 1 yd for every 2 mph of wind.
These general general guides to get you started.
Tweeking (as always) will be required.
I hope this helps,
- Mark
Don't go by these. These do not into account air time so they will be
way off in most instances and are just generally off. According to
this, say @ 50 yards with a 20mph headwind one should hit 70yards? Not
even. That formula doesn't even work @ 100yards.
Also according to this, say @ 100 yards with a 10mph 90 degree side
wind I should move the maker 10 yards against the wind? More like 10 ft.
