There are 5 different courses. 1 is an championship course (Beckenbauer Course)
The european tour and challenge tour are there.

While i would love to see some European or Aussie courses, i would imagine just the cost of sending a team there to map out and photo the course would be prohibitive.

With the US Open course every year, plus now a deal with The PGA, and it taking 6 months or so to do a new course from the drawing board to game play, i doubt we will see nothing but American courses in the near future.

    Who knows.

Big fan of the addition of Bandon Dunes, and looking forward to Pebble and Chambers Bay both coming in the next 6 months.

i really can recommend the hartl resort. been tere 3 times for a longer weekend wih friends and played the courses: UTLAU, LEDERBACH and BRUNWIES. the courses are lovely and pretty good in shape and the bavarian landscape is amazing!

a really highlight is the "hezschlaghuegel" at LEDERBACH at hole nr 9. it is one of the 10 hardest holes to play in germany (german golf magazin). within 150m you have to cimb up to 48% altitude difference!

its allways worth to visit this resort and the hotels and the bavarian food are fantastic.  so go for it for a short holiday trip with some friends or your family. and by the way, the resort is not far away from the starnberg sea (beatifull) and munich!

    regards,

    frank.
