    Just curious.  What do people think of Bandon par 3 cource

    Only been round it once in the 'starter gear comp' but seems pretty easy putting wise...

    Some nice scenery to view too.

    Very nice if you like playing nothing but par 3 holes for 18 holes. And very nice scenery as Andy said.

    I have never played it, probably never will. Par three courses do not float my boat.

    Very easy due to the flattish hole locations

     

    Shot 45 the very first time I played it. The second time I played the first 9, I won a RG shooting a 19

     

    Now, I can see some trouble locations that one must avoid at all costs (like left at 9)

    Played the Tough It Out and now the Virtual Open.  Nice course but would have preferred a non-par 3 addition.

    I also notice on the Virtual Tour that the total elevation over the 18 holes is down 230 feet.  Ski lift back to the bar?  Perhaps it's a golf course version of the Penrose stairs.
