    SweetiePie:
If it were offered with 4.0 speed I would gladly use it and save a ton.

Speaking of preferences! I'd like to see it as fast as the Tour-SD.  ;-)

    +1 to both  :)

Some days I need a faster meter, somedays slower.  Would be nice to be able to play the same ball with different swing speeds.

Natch, it will depend on conditions and topography but, in short, I've found that using an amount of TS into a bigger front wind helps.

Conversely, BS with larger tail wind keeps the ball in the air so she gets a lot of distance.

    Results may vary.

With the callaway ball, I have found about 1/2 bs gets good carry and roll out.  On the Callaway ball, I use the logo on the ball as a reference point.  If I lower the spin dot to where just some of the chevron shows about the dot, that's where I like to hit my drives.  I say to myself, small horns, since to me it looks like the spin dot has horns lol.

I see that you are playing a Nike ball.  Maybe use the number below the swoosh as a reference point.  I lower the dot on the nike ball just to where the spin dot no longer touches that little number on the ball.

Taking the spin dot just above center (no spin)  seems to play the shot like the R1 I have found.

Use a practice round, on the first tee just mulligan it over and over with different spin and see how it ends up.

    YMMV

Interesting factoid about that-I found your way and full back spin way are just about the same. One lands and rolls, the other lands and hops. You could throw a blanket over them. This is flat, no wind.  :-)

Maybe our avatars have slightly different AoA's lol.

Edit, sorry, was at work and trying to sneak in the reply as someone was walking by lol.

AoA (angle of attack)  producing different trajectory (carry and roll out)
