How do you use Skype? I guess Im asking can you set it up to work with WGT or are you just talking to a friend while playing a round?

I and my family use Skype all the time while playing a game and it works great, you simply connect to Skype and start the game and just talk as you play , That simple.
It adds a whole new dimension to playing. A great way to trade ideas and tips as well as the obligatory "NOONAN!" :-)
