I remember the Oakmont qualifying rounds being Championship green speeds. WGT may have tournament green speeds put in place for the qualifying rounds in the Open for 2011. I'm familiar with the post WGTadmin2 wrote describing the Open green speeds.

I imagine this course will be announced very soon as well.

I wonder what made you say that...seen helicopters and legions of cameramen in Google street view cars around the course lately? But honestly, I would be curious to hear more!

Totally agree. I think in the future you will see the mens US open course early in the year. The womens US open course in April, May.... and the British open course in summer.

P.S. For all the ones saying why u think that to Richard he is saying that because we have oakmont from the last women's US open and WGT has a connection with the USGA.

Phil, Stencil summed it up in a nut-shell. It's going to look pretty weird playing on a different LPGA Open course at WGT.com rather then playing on the real LPGA Open course at WGT.com, which is at Broadmoor.

I was stationed a Fort Carson 96-00 too bad I wasn't bitten by the golf bug back then, I only lived a few miles from there lol.

Definitely need more courses - only 4 is boring. And SA is an ugly, boring goat ranch, so there are really only 3 courses that are any fun. Come on WGT - open some more tracks.

You again? You just joined on Friday, and according to your score history you have not played the back nine at St. Andrew's, or the front nine at Bethpage, and you have never stepped foot on Oakmont. So go play those courses before you complain again.

Or better yet, go back and play one of your many other accounts.

    So the question is:

When will the course be opened for stroke play?  Thats my question.
